ECAD Workbench currently provides free electronics calculators and supporting technical content without requiring an account.
This notice is provisional while the site is in its early launch period. Contact, business, provider, and support details may be updated as the service matures.
The consent interface stores category choices, a schema version, an update time, and an expiry time in the browser under ecadworkbench_consent. The record is designed not to contain names, email addresses, calculator inputs, calculator outputs, payment data, or project information.
Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs.
ECAD Workbench is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process request metadata, security signals, and diagnostic information needed to deliver, protect, cache, and troubleshoot the site.
Cloudflare Web Analytics or Browser Insights may load a performance beacon from static.cloudflareinsights.com and send page-load timing information to /cdn-cgi/rum. This operational telemetry is used to understand production performance and reliability, and is not controlled by the optional PostHog analytics consent category.
PostHog Cloud EU is the selected product analytics provider. It is configured to load only after analytics consent and to receive approved typed events rather than raw calculator values or free-text content.
Autocapture, automatic page views, page-leave capture, performance capture, heatmaps, dead-click capture, session recording, person profiles, identification, surveys, experiments, feature flags, and browser console-log capture are disabled in the current site implementation.
Information may be used to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service, and to measure approved site usage after consent.
The consent record expires after 183 days. Infrastructure-log, diagnostic, and analytics retention depend on the configured provider settings. Information should not be sold or disclosed for unrelated purposes.
Visitors can reject optional categories or change them later through Cookie settings. Optional analytics and advertising or marketing categories are denied before a choice is recorded.
